A Word for Life

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am  gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  --Jesus, Matthew 11:28-20

Welcome to CrossWay Church!

FAMILY - HOPE - FAITH

We welcome you to our Sunday morning worship, our small groups, our events, and activities, in short--we welcome you to the family we call CrossWay Church. Why "CrossWay”? The Gospel, which is the good news of acceptance with God and new life forever, the only source of true hope, calls people to the Cross of Jesus Christ. The Bible calls His followers to travel the way of love, sacrifice, and service by His strength.

If you do not know for sure that you have received eternal life and the forgiveness of all your sins, we provide opportunities for you to discover that. If you have arrived at that certainty we desire to help you grow in faith and deepen your relationship with God and His family. Come and see how CrossWay and you can form a wonderful partnership in pursuing Jesus Christ and His mission.

HAPPENINGS:

2010 CrossWay Family Picnic August 29 at Happy Hollow Park

Sundays as Summer at CrossWay ends: Interspersed with Pastor Dean's messages we have heard Dr. Stephen Nichols (August 1) and Pastor Kenn Cosgrove (August 15).On August 22 our teens shared with us the messages that impacted them at the Momentum Conference in July. This past Sunday (August 29) Pastor Dean brought a message about biblical community as we prepare to kick off a new season of small groups. Next he will return to...

Current Sermon Series:

Pastor Dean has drawn messages from Joshua this summer.

On August 8 we learned from Joshua 4 that our Creator God, knowing we are forgetful people, has always taken the initiative in providing prompts for our memories. He told Joshua to have a memorial of stones erected to remind Israel of the miracle of crossing the Jordan. He has given us baptism, the Lord's Supper, and the Church with preaching of His Word to keep our memories prodded concerning his saving work. Think about: What other ways do we provide our children with reminders of God's great works?
